Supplied in a 22 litre self-pressurised canister, GrabFast Roofing provides a fast and portable alternative to traditional hand-applied contact adhesives. How to Apply GrabFast Roofing
Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other contaminants before bonding.
The membrane and substrate should also be at an appropriate working temperature before application.
- Ensure both surfaces are suitable for bonding and properly prepared.
- Hold the spray gun parallel to the surface.
- Apply a consistent coat of adhesive to the required bonding surfaces.
- Avoid excessive overlapping or allowing the adhesive to puddle.
- Allow the adhesive to flash off correctly.
- Once ready, carefully position the membrane.
- Bring the surfaces together.
- Apply firm and even pressure across the bond area using an appropriate roller where required.
Because this is a contact adhesive system, correct positioning is important before the two adhesive-coated surfaces are brought fully together.

Cold Weather & Canister Storage
Canister temperature can affect spray performance.
If the canister has been stored in a cold environment, allow it to acclimatise to an appropriate working temperature before application.
Avoid storing the canister directly on cold concrete floors and always follow Gemini’s current storage and handling instructions.
Canister System
The 22L GrabFast Roofing canister is self-pressurised, allowing the adhesive to be applied without a conventional compressor.
A compatible hose and spray gun are required for application.
Once correctly connected, the system should remain pressurised during normal use. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when connecting, operating or changing adhesive canisters to help prevent blockages within the gun and hose.
