EPDM Sponge 120kg Density/Acrylic backing – Sheets 2Mtrs x 1Mtr, various thicknesses
EPDM is a closed cell sponge which is a synthetic material. EPDM is a great choice for gaskets, seals, watertight applications, construction and much more. EPDM also offers good resistance to ozone, weathering and diluted acids. Suitable In many acids and alkalis in diluted concentrations, water & steam up to 100%, sea water. Potassium and sodium salts, aqueous aluminium salts, detergent, photographic chemicals, cold ammonia, acetylene, alcohols, glycerol, brake fluids, glycol based anti-freeze, carbon dioxide, ozone, silicone oil & fat, aqueous bleach. Limited use in wet & Dry chlorine gas, hot ammonia, concentrated hydrochloric acid. Not Recommended in fuels, oils, greases, mineral spirits, solvents such as toluene, trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene [per] thinners, concentrated nitric and sulfuric acid.
When bonding acrylic adhesive it is best to allow 24 hours for optimum adhesion.
