Alpha S758 is a professional, high-viscosity contact adhesive designed for automotive trim, upholstery, furniture and general industrial bonding. It forms strong, permanent bonds between leather, supported PVC faux leather, polyurethane foam, rubber, rigid PVC, fabrics, laminates, wood and metal.

How to use Alpha S758
1. Prepare the surfaces
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, wax and loose material.
Check that painted or coated surfaces are firmly attached and compatible with the adhesive. Test sensitive materials, visible finishes and flexible vinyl before beginning the full application.
2. Stir before use
Stir the adhesive thoroughly before application.
3. Apply to both surfaces
Using a brush or spreader, apply a thin, even coating of Alpha S758 to both surfaces being bonded.
4. Allow the adhesive to become touch dry
Allow the solvents to evaporate before bringing the surfaces together.
Absorbent materials such as leather or chipboard may be ready to bond within approximately 2–3 minutes. Non-absorbent materials such as metal or laminate may require at least 15 minutes.
The total available open joint time is approximately 2–30 minutes, depending on the materials and environmental conditions.
5. Assemble under firm pressure
Carefully align the components before contact. Once the surfaces meet, apply firm and even pressure across the complete bonded area.
Contact adhesives develop immediate grab, so repositioning after full contact may be difficult.
6. Allow the bond to develop
Initial contact strength increases considerably during the first 48 hours. For maximum heat resistance, allow the bond to remain at room temperature for seven days before exposing it to elevated service temperatures.
