Bostik 3206E Polyurethane Adhesive – High Strength PVC, Foam & Fabric Bonding Adhesive
Bostik 3206E is a solvent-based polyurethane contact adhesive designed for industrial bonding of flexible materials, plastics and coated fabrics where strong, durable bonds are required.
Engineered for PVC bonding and flexible substrate adhesion, it delivers tough, resilient bonds across a wide range of materials including plasticised PVC, polyurethane foam, fabrics, leather and laminated plastics.
Unlike standard contact adhesives, Bostik 3206E polyurethane adhesive provides excellent adhesion to both plasticised and unplasticised PVC, making it a reliable choice for inflatable products, coated fabrics, automotive trim and industrial fabrication.
For more demanding environments, it can be used with Bostikure D hardener to create a two-part system, significantly improving heat resistance (up to +100°C) and fluid resistance.

⚙️ Application Overview
- Apply to both surfaces (contact adhesive method)
- Allow solvent to flash off (typically 5–10 minutes)
- Bond under firm pressure for maximum strength
👉 For porous materials: apply 2 coats for optimal adhesion
⚠️ Important Notes
- Not a high-tack grab adhesive (requires pressure bonding)
- Shorter open time vs rubber contact adhesives
- Highly flammable – solvent-based system
- Always test suitability for specific materials
