Description
Permabond UV6260 UV-Curable Plastic & Glass Adhesive
Permabond UV6260 is a high-performance UV-curing acrylic adhesive designed for demanding industrial bonding applications involving engineering plastics, glass and metals.
Its extremely reactive formulation provides exceptionally fast curing when exposed to UV light while remaining tack-free after cure. Unlike many conventional UV adhesives, UV6260 has been specifically formulated to perform on coloured and fritted glass, as well as a broad range of rigid plastics including polycarbonate, acrylic (PMMA), PETG, ABS and rigid PVC.
With an elongation at break of approximately 205%, UV6260 offers excellent flexibility to accommodate differential movement between bonded substrates, helping improve long-term durability where thermal expansion may occur.
Its crystal-clear cured appearance and excellent resistance to yellowing make it ideal for visible assemblies where appearance is just as important as strength.

Why Choose Permabond UV6260?
Unlike general-purpose UV adhesives that focus primarily on glass bonding, UV6260 has been engineered to provide exceptional performance across a much wider range of plastics.
Its ability to cure rapidly through coloured and fritted glass also makes it particularly useful where many conventional UV adhesives struggle.
The combination of high flexibility, fast cure speed and excellent adhesion makes UV6260 an excellent choice for manufacturers producing plastic, glass and mixed-material assemblies.
How to Use
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or contamination.
- Apply a small amount of UV6260 to one bonding surface.
- Assemble and correctly position the components.
- Expose the bond line to a suitable UV light source (365 to 420 nm).
- Allow sufficient exposure until the adhesive has fully cured.
For successful curing, UV light must be able to reach the adhesive through at least one substrate.
