Description
Permabond UV6357 Flexible UV Adhesive – 50ml Bottle
Permabond UV6357 is a premium UV-curable adhesive developed for demanding glass, metal and plastic bonding applications where flexibility, thermal resistance and durability are essential.
Unlike many traditional brittle UV adhesives, UV6357 offers exceptional toughness and elongation, helping absorb movement caused by thermal expansion and contraction between dissimilar materials such as glass and metal. This makes it particularly well suited to automotive, refrigeration, electronics and glazing applications.
UV6357 cures rapidly under UV or LED light sources between 365-400nm, providing fast fixture times and efficient production speeds for industrial assembly processes.
Engineered for Low Temperature & Thermal Cycling Applications
Permabond UV6357 was specifically developed to deliver exceptional performance in demanding low temperature environments where conventional UV adhesives may become brittle or fail under thermal stress.
The adhesive was designed to continuously withstand temperatures below freezing while also handling thermal cycling and thermal shock without compromising bond strength. During comparative testing against leading competitor products, UV6357 demonstrated superior block shear strength, peel strength and tensile strength.
When tested at temperatures as low as -23°C (-10°F), UV6357 successfully passed drop-peel and impact testing. It also maintained excellent performance when exposed to temperatures above 70°C (158°F) and environments with 100% relative humidity. This demonstrates outstanding resistance to cold, heat and moisture, making it ideal for refrigeration, glazing and demanding industrial applications.
One of the key advantages of UV6357 is its extremely high elongation of 440%, allowing bonded materials such as glass and metal to expand and contract at different rates without causing stress fractures or cracking. This is especially important in applications exposed to sudden temperature changes where standard rigid UV adhesives may fail.
Unlike brittle UV adhesives, UV6357 remains flexible at sub-zero temperatures, helping reduce the risk of cracking in freezer shelves, refrigerated doors, lighting assemblies and glass panels subjected to thermal shock.
